  • MOI: "Free on-Arrival Tourist Visa for a maximum of (30) days (Pakistani, Indian and Thai nationalities)" – no fee.
  • Visit Qatar visa checker: book a visa-on-arrival-eligible hotel on Discover Qatar before travelling and pay QAR 100 at the airport, or get the visa on arrival for QAR 100, or apply online in advance for a Hayya visa (QAR 100).
  • Passport valid for at least 3 months from the date of entry (MOI, Visit Qatar).
  • Confirmed onward or return ticket.
  • Health insurance from a company registered with the Ministry of Public Health is required to enter Qatar (MOI); Visit Qatar says it can be bought on arrival.
  • GCC residents (residence valid 6+ months from arrival) can use Hayya A2; holders of a valid UK, US or Schengen visa or residence can use Hayya A3 (each QAR 100, single entry).
