Business visits to Malaysia

Not verified yet (not yet covered). We haven't verified the business rules for Sudanese passport holders, and we don't publish rules we haven't checked against an official source. A rule that is awaiting verification or not yet covered is not a negative visa decision: it only means we haven't confirmed it on an official source yet. Until then, see malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my.

Transit through Malaysia

Option 1
Visa-freeTransit (changing flights in Malaysia)

Transit without leaving the airport: no transit visa needed; leaving the airport needs normal entry rules

Malaysia's Immigration Department says foreign nationals in transit who do not leave the airport premises and continue to their next destination do not need a transit visa. If you have to clear immigration (for example separate bookings that need re-check-in, collecting bags, changing between KLIA and another airport, or leaving the airport), the normal entry rules for your passport apply - see the holiday section. The Transit Without Visa (TWOV) facility is listed by Malaysia's foreign ministry as currently suspended.

Conditions

  • Do not leave the airport premises or pass immigration.
  • Hold the documents for your next destination.
